2026 MHC Annual Meeting Dinner
The Metropolitan Housing Coalition’s 2026 Annual Meeting Dinner was a huge success, bringing together housing advocates, coalition members, nonprofit developers, and community members seeking to advance access to affordable and equitable housing throughout Louisville and the greater Commonwealth. This event featured a keynote presentation from Pulitzer Prize winning Author, Brian Goldstone, on his book There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America, which discussed the stories of several Georgia residents who have each experienced the lack of access to affordable housing throughout unexpected changes in circumstances and battling the benefits cliff. Some guests have proudly proclaimed that this year’s Keynote Speaker was our best yet! Attendees also had the opportunity to bid on 40+ unique silent auction items, participate in our bourbon pull, and enjoy great catering from the Mayan Cafe.
MHC staff is incredibly grateful for each of our sponsors, volunteers, board members, coalition members, and silent auction donors who all helped make this event possible. We thank you each for your continued commitment to advancing fair, accessible, and affordable housing for all Louisville residents. Your support allows our team to continue producing timely research, engaging our community on water and utility affordability, and advocating for policies that strengthen our housing landscape.
What’s up next for MHC? Stay tuned for our 2026 State of Metropolitan Housing Report being released this December. We can’t wait to see you there!
